I knew a Scotsman, Derrick Herning, who lived in the Shetland Islands who spoke 36 languages. He was in the Guiness Book of Recores in the eighties. He learned Faroese in 6 months. I asked him which languge was his favourite: he said English.
We are finishing our second edition of the Faroese King James Bible, third edition of the New Testament. When I started in 2008, I corresponded with brother Perry a number of times, for translational advice. His answers were first class. I pray God continues to bless brother Perry’s ministry in the Lord. Amen.
